Inde Navarrette’s boyfriend is Nick Aiello, a singer-songwriter from San Diego who released his first EP in February. Getty Images captioned the pair as a couple at the opening night of the US Open on August 30, and Navarrette mentioned “my boyfriend” in a June interview with Complex. Neither of them has named the other in public.
That is the whole of it, on the record. Everything else comes from a trail of dated posts, comments and photographs running from a motorbike video in Bangkok in March to a courtside seat in Flushing Meadows in August.

Who is Nick Aiello?
Aiello grew up in San Diego and went to Cathedral Catholic High School before studying musical theatre at the University of Michigan, graduating in 2025, according to the South China Morning Post. He acted on stage while he was there, including a 2024 production of the musical Bat Boy with The Encore Musical Theatre Company in Dexter, Michigan.
He lives in New York now and works in music rather than theatre. His Spotify profile describes his songs as a way of processing emotion, with an emphasis on storytelling. “ILO” arrived in February 2026 with five tracks that sit between indie, pop and folk, and he sold out The Delancey on the Lower East Side the same month.
He is close friends with Joshua Bassett, best known from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The two announced a joint show on Instagram in May and played together at the Belly Up in Solana Beach, just north of San Diego, with Bassett appearing as his guest.
Neither Aiello nor Navarrette has published a height. He is taller in the photographs by a noticeable margin. Any specific figure circulating online comes from guesswork rather than either of them.

Neither has given a start date. The public trail begins in March.

- April. Joshua Bassett posted a photo of himself, Aiello, Navarrette and a few friends inside a Goodyear blimp.
- April 16. Aiello posted from Coachella and Navarrette left a heart emoji, People reported. Cosmopolitan noted that each had put a close-up of the other as the last image in their Coachella carousels.
- May 11. Aiello attended the Los Angeles screening of Obsession. The two did not pose for photographs together.

Navarrette was linked to actor Ty Simpkins in 2023, after the two appeared at a premiere together. Neither confirmed anything and no outlet reported a statement from either side. There is no public record of Navarrette being married or engaged.

Navarrette, 25, was born in Tucson, Arizona, and worked in television for several years before this year. She appeared in 13 Reasons Why and played Sarah Cushing in Superman & Lois.
Obsession changed the scale of it. Curry Barker’s horror film, in which she plays Nikki, was made for roughly $750,000 and had taken more than $300 million worldwide by late June. She won a performance award at the Seattle International Film Festival for the role.
Marvel Studios introduced her as Rogue in Jake Schreier’s X-Men film at D23 on August 14, alongside Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Samara Weaving and Christopher Abbott. She is also attached to the Apple thriller The Waffle House Index.
The one time she mentioned him
Navarrette told Complex in June that Big Sean had sent her a direct message, writing that he had been a fan since Superman & Lois. She had listened to him since middle school and could not bring herself to open it, so she asked her boyfriend to read it first and tell her whether it was all right. He told her it was the cutest little message.
She used the phrase and moved on without naming him. It remains the only time either of them has talked about the relationship in an interview.
The approach matches how she has handled attention elsewhere. Navarrette told People in May that she and her family had been limiting what she was allowed to see, and that she was not looking at social media unless a family member or someone on her team sent it to her.
Why neither of them has confirmed it
Staying quiet has not cost them much so far, and early September showed what speaking up might involve.
On September 3, entertainment reporter Jeff Sneider posted on X that Navarrette’s team had been ignoring his emails, and that he could be a useful friend to them or could share everything he had heard about her. When another user read that as a complaint, Sneider replied that it was a threat, and that being ignored suited him fine because it left him free to say whatever he wanted.
Two of Reddit’s Marvel communities banned him as a source within days. Sneider deleted the posts and apologized, saying his ego had got the better of him. Navarrette did not respond publicly.
Almost everything known about her relationship with Aiello has come from their own captions, other people’s cameras and a single aside in an interview. None of it has come from a statement, and the September exchange is a fair illustration of why that might suit them.

Aiello plays Mercury Lounge in New York on September 17.
Navarrette hosts Saturday Night Live on October 31, with Gracie Abrams as musical guest. NBC announced the booking on September 9. It will be her first time hosting the show.
